The Academy Singers make a welcome return to St Hilda's Anglican Church, Katoomba with a selection of traditional choral Christmas music.
This will include the work of Elaine Hagenberg, winner of the ACDA Brock Competition for Professional Composers featuring her original work Sweetest music softly stealing and contemporary arrangements of 16th and 17th century carols.
Long time favourite and well-known local musician Margo Adelson will be our keyboard accompanist for this concert and in addition we will be joined by local string group, the Kanimbla Quartet. Many of our regular audiences will be familiar with one of our sopranos, Sue Capper, who will perform a short musical interlude on the flute. All donations contribute to paying our local musicians.
